In 1989, after graduating from the Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley, I returned to Louisiana. After working briefly for the largest firm in the state, I left New Orleans for Baton Rouge and, for the most part, settled into life back home.

After I founded my practice, I devoted my career to working with individuals to protect their workplace rights under laws such as the Family Medical Leave Act, helping injury victims obtain compensation, and building long-lasting legal relationships with entrepreneurs and small businesses.
